Because BON should belong to the people who actually use MacBon. The 5% developer pool covers ongoing engineering, infrastructure, and compliance β that's it. No one is sitting on a 20% bag waiting to dump.
A Mac that produces tap activity in at least 6 distinct UTC hours during the same UTC day. The 6 hours don't have to be consecutive. The server validates each hour against an anti-cheat threshold (max 10,000 taps per hour to prevent injection).
Two reasons. First, BON is meant to reward focused weekday work β the same rhythm the rest of your life follows. Second, an 80% weekend cut prevents 24/7 farm rigs from extracting disproportionate rewards. Rest is rest.
The contract uses UTC weekend (Saturday and Sunday UTC) as a single global rule. We chose UTC to keep the math identical for everyone β any local definition would create timezone arbitrage. If your work week is SunβThu, you'll see your earnings shift by one day.
Every locked BON is recorded against your device_id daily. When the network hits 50,000 Macs, the smart contract triggers a one-time event at TGE: every record's locked_amount is added to the corresponding device's claimable balance β and immediately distributed alongside your regular mining earnings. You don't need to do anything.
If the network doesn't hit 50,000 active Macs within 180 days of app launch, all locked reserves are permanently burned from the supply and the project is considered failed. Already-paid BON remains valid in user balances (no claw-back). The 15% liquidity reserve stays under the public multi-sig and would not be deployed.
Simplicity and storytelling. One target β 50K Macs β is easier to rally a community around than two staggered milestones. It also means early miners' retroactive bonus lands the same day BON becomes tradable, maximising both the symbolic and financial impact.
Yes β up to 10 Macs per Solana address. Each Mac mines independently. At airdrop time the contract sums all 10 device balances and sends one transfer to your wallet.
None. Total supply is hard-capped at 2.1B (or less, if reserves get burned). After Year 8 mining tails off; new BON only circulates from existing holders trading.
The token contract itself is immutable. Mining parameters (daily pool size, halving cadence) are encoded in the server. After Year 1 we plan to migrate parameter control to a community-voted DAO using BON-weighted governance.
